When you finally understand your child, everything changes.

Every child has a story.

Sometimes that story is hidden beneath evaluations, report cards, test scores, school meetings, and years of unanswered questions.

My role is to help you see the whole child—to connect the dots others may have missed and guide your family forward with clarity, confidence, and hope.

Understanding Children. Guiding Families.

You May Be Here Because...

Maybe you've recently received an evaluation and aren't quite sure what it means.

Maybe your child is struggling in school, but you can't quite understand why.

Maybe you're preparing for an IEP, PPT, or 504 meeting and want to feel more prepared.

Maybe you're wondering whether your child's strengths are being recognized—or whether everyone seems to be focusing only on the challenges.

Maybe you've been doing everything you know how to do, but you're wondering if there's something you've missed.

Or maybe nothing is terribly wrong. You simply want someone who understands both your child and the educational system.

You don't need to have all the answers before reaching out. Sometimes the first step is simply talking with someone who will listen, help you make sense of what you're seeing, and guide you toward the next best step.

No matter where you are in the process, your questions are valid, your concerns matter, and you don't have to figure this out by yourself.

Wherever you are in your journey, you don't have to navigate it alone.

Seeing the Whole Child

My goal isn't simply to help you understand the paperwork. My goal is to help you understand your child.

Every recommendation I make begins with understanding your child—not just reviewing paperwork.

Records and evaluations provide important information, but they never tell the whole story. I want to understand the child behind the reports—their strengths, needs, personality, interests, experiences, and potential.

I don't simply summarize reports. I connect the dots, look for patterns, identify strengths that may have been overlooked, and help families understand what all of the information means for their child.

You don't need to wait until there's a crisis to ask for guidance. Sometimes the best time to seek support is when you simply have questions and want to better understand your child and your options.

What Changes With the Right Support

Confusion → Clarity

Overwhelm → Confidence

Isolation → Partnership

Deficits → Strengths

Uncertainty → A Clear Roadmap

I've spent my career helping children be understood and helping families find a path forward.

For 30 years, I've worked with children and families as a special education teacher and educational evaluator, helping to understand how children learn, where they struggle, and what they need to succeed.

That experience taught me how to interpret evaluations, recognize patterns, connect information across disciplines, and navigate the educational system. But it also taught me something even more important: no report, diagnosis, or test score can ever tell the whole story of a child.

Today, I bring that experience to families as an educational advocate, helping parents better understand their children, make sense of complicated information, and approach important educational decisions with clarity and confidence.

Every decision begins with understanding the child—not just the challenge.

Sometimes the first step is simply having a conversation with someone who will listen, help you make sense of what you're seeing, and guide you toward the next best step.

Your questions are valid. Your concerns matter. And you don't have to navigate this journey alone.

You don't have to figure this out alone.
